After months of local campaigning and over 1,700 of you signing my petition, I’m pleased to share that more real progress is being made to safeguard the future of our brilliant museum.

Thanks to the review by Hampshire Cultural Trust, exciting recommendations are now being put into action, including:

- Highlighting the Guildhall’s iconic history of royal & high-profile weddings
- A new joint offer between the Guildhall and Museum
- A full marketing refresh to boost visitor numbers

Funding bids are in (including one to Arts Council England), and in the meantime, smaller grants are being used to improve displays  and bring fresh life to the gallery.

Opening hours remain Tuesdays & Wednesdays, with special open days to come!

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing volunteers at the Friends of the Windsor & Royal Borough Museum - their time, passion, and support are vital to ensuring the museum not just survives, but thrives.

Continued thanks also goes to the Royal Borough and in particular cabinet member Cllr Jack Douglas for the positive engagement when meeting with him.

This shows what dedicated volunteers and community support can achieve. I’ll keep fighting to protect and promote Windsor’s history for generations to come.
