Thank you to the over 1,700 of you who showed our strength of feeling locally for Windsor Museum and Tourist Information Centre by signing my petition over the summer.
Following this, I recently met with RBWM, the Cabinet Member for Communities & Leisure Cllr Jack Douglas and the Friends of the Windsor Museum at the Guildhall.
I want to thank them for their engagement and positive ideas around the museum and Guildhall that were put forward during the meeting. I continued to make the case that we need a Royal Borough museum and tourist information centre in Windsor.
Sadly we saw the tourist information centre close over the summer despite campaigning hard to save it, but I will keep working with local stakeholders and residents to ensure we keep tourism going strong in Windsor.
Thank you again for showing your support for my petition.
Kind regards,
Jack
