We are gravely concerned about her forthcoming visit to Spain to develop bilateral relations, and we feel it is imperative to share with you the grim realities that have unfolded under her administration.
Recently, Bangladesh has witnessed a severe crackdown on student movements advocating for fair quota reforms. These peaceful protests have been met with unprecedented violence and brutality. Numerous students have been killed, and thousands have sustained injuries at the hands of law enforcement agencies.
The government's actions have not only violated basic human rights but have also stifled the voices of young, educated citizens who represent the future of our nation. These students were simply exercising their democratic right to demand justice and equality, yet they have been met with repression and violence.
