No matter what political speak a certain former state representative turned paved trail lobbyist will use, this proposed paving of the Minnesota River Trail is NOT fully funded. Without funding the trail does not get paved. Question: Who can stop the plan to pave the Minnesota River Trail between the Bloomington Ferry Bridge and the old Cedar Avenue Bridge? Answer: You....and only you! We can't stop it with motivational Facebook and www posts. It won't get stopped if we all sit back assuming someone else will make the phone call or write the letter. The only way to stop this is for ALL concerned citizens to reach out to their elected state officials and enlighten them to your position on this boondoggle. They represent you! A personal phone call is most effective. A written (snail mail) letter is second best. An email is more efficient but much less likely to be effective. Please do this today. Please share this post with your friends, family and neighbors. Let's combine our many frustrated voices into one very loud and effective voice and stop this. #Savetheriverbottoms http://www.gis.leg.mn/iMaps/districts/
