Today Alice Hausman (DFL) District: 66A offered up bill HF2787 in the link below. Section 2.27: "$1,500,000 is for the Minnesota Valley Trail, and is to complete a 13-mile trail along the Minnesota River in Bloomington with both a hard and natural surface to accommodate multiple uses." Mind you this is the same paved state trail that former Representative Lenczewski said was "fully funded" with the $2,170,000 or so that was already allocated, yet conservative estimates put in the $15,000,000 to actually fund. Inquiring minds want to know exactly what "fully funded" means in MN politics speak? We would appreciate it greatly if you would send Representative Hausman an email.
