As a law-abiding, African American Muslim father of three daughters; since I arrived in the UK on the 20th of April 2016 to seek refuge, the Home Office has been persecuting me; the Home Office has denied me the due process of law. In March 2022, I hired a law firm and filed a case defending my legal right against the Home Office's abuses of power of authority; subsequently, they terminated my asylum support and threatened to deport me to cover up the abuses of power, conspiracy, alleged fraud, and the persecution human right violation.

I have been treated as a criminal and arbitrarily denied equal rights and due process of law thus of the color of my skin, religion, and nationality; I fear the threats of illegal acts against me; my fears are well-founded. I spent 62 days in prison without due process of law; I fear being captured, kidnapped, and facing imprisonment for indefinite times without due process.  I have well-founded fears of being trafficked into the hands of slave muster and possibly disappearing without traces; I cannot move freely due to legitimate fear for my safety and freedom, I would rather die than be deported!

My health condition is deteriorating, face irreversible harm; I cannot seek medical help or assistance under the Home Office threats of action. My situation is similar to a wounded animal in the wildlife, psychologically damaged and hopelessly resting in darkness. For far too long, I have been treated as a second-class citizen, denied fundamental human rights, due rights, dignity, and due process of law. The likelihood of my survival through the cold winter months is slim, I intend to seek immediate medical help without fear of being a target of the Home Office.

I wish to visit my GP to seek medical help without fear and before too late, upon receiving a guarantee from the Home Office that I will not be harassed or deported. I wish to be housed and resume normalcy during the litigation; the court filing of my case has not been submitted yet. In the past seven months of endless delays, abuses of power, conspiracy, and lack of transparency, I have not been able to make incremental legal progress due to the dilatory tactics; I wish to receive due process of law while alive.

The fascist public officials have no regard for human rights laws; they will do everything at their disposal to delay, delay, delay and deny justice to avoid accountability. I can no longer live in misery, homelessness, fear, hunger, cold, insecurity, and hopelessness. The hardships I am going through, and the difficulty I continue to bear are challenging for any human to sustain; it seems the crime to be African American Muslim asylum seeker in the UK.

The endless abuses of power and injustice I have been sustaining at the hands of the Home Office’s officials created a negative impact on me. I wish to receive equal treatment as an equal human being with dignity and rights; arbitrarily denying the due process of law on the basis of race, religion, and nationality is undemocratic and constitutes a violation of human rights Laws.

As a 56 years old citizen of the “first nation,” I have legal rights to due process of law guaranteed in the human rights laws; the right to pursue life with dignity and family and enjoy grandkids. I desperately need the public’s help to look into my case with urgency. I appeal to all NGO advocates of human rights to please share my story with relevant authorities. Your help and the help of honorable human rights advocates are paramount. “Justice Delayed, Justice Denied.”

The Law Firm of  Leigh Day is handling my case; allowed to present my case before the court of law, I am confident that justice will be served! Due to the endless abuse of authorities, I am constantly thinking of ending my life by suicide please help save my life!

Liberty in the absence of justice is slavery! -- Negash Abdelkader
