19 children and 2 teachers were shot and killed this week in a Texas elementary school. They were ages 7-10. Despite this horrific devastation, the NRA convention is set to take place this weekend in Texas.

Just days after the deadliest school shooting in Texas history, Gov. Greg Abbott, along with both of Texas' U.S. senators, John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, are scheduled to attend the National Rifle Association's annual convention in Houston.
