The Vale of Glamorgan Council have earmarked a green field site for a new housing complex of 250 houses.

The location is in Eastbrook, Dinas Powys.

The village already suffers major traffic congestion, Our schools and Medical Centre will not cope with any extra input, and the area is prone to flooding .

Our drains infrastructure won't cope.

Our local railway station close to the proposed site discriminates against people with mobility issues and fails to meet Access for all conditions.

Our village could lose it's status and become a town.

If this development goes ahead there is a potential for hundreds of more houses to be built in the surrounding area.  

Already over 200 people have supported this campaign and thank you .

We will lose a vital green field site, many trees will be cut down and wildlife which currently thrives in the area will be threatened.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council are keen to go ahead with this development and have so far ignored the objections from local Councillors .

They are under pressure from the Welsh Labour Government to get more houses built disregarding the views of people whose lives will be made even more miserable than at present.
