Stop the Moose-Understanding

Stop the Moose-Understanding
The Issue
Today we present to you a problem, the word “Moose.” The plural is the same as the singular version of the word. This can cause a lot of confusion when using the word. You may mean many moose and be understood as one moose. It also confounds people who are learning English when we use words that don’t follow the “rules” of the language, like the word moose. An alternative plural, like meese, would make sense because it matches the plural of goose (geese); it would also break the monotony of using the same words and provide society with another fun word to add to our vocabulary.
To fix this problem, we ask the Kratt brothers to incorporate the word meese in their future episodes. Because almost everyone under ten watches their show, the Kratt brothers' willingness to adopt the word could create enough of a following to integrate meese into our conversations and eventually into our dictionaries.
