Montgomery Pass Horses Are Looking for Homes

Thank you for signing our petition to protect the Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory herd. We promised to keep you informed, so here's an update and an opportunity for all of you!

This summer, federal agencies carried out the helicopter roundup we've been fighting over a year to stop. Over 450 Horses were removed from the Territory, from the land their ancestors have roamed for generations. It's such a hard moment, BUT there are two meaningful things you can do right now to help. 

Give a Montgomery Pass Horse a Home

The horses removed from the Territory will be available for adoption starting September 28th at the USFS Double Devil Corrals. These are extraordinary animals  known for their natural social harmony, self-regulation, and deep connection to the high desert landscape.
