Montgomery Pass Wild Horses - LA Times feature story this week!

Hello Wild Horse Supporters! 

The Los Angeles Times recently published an article bringing national attention to the Montgomery Pass wild horse herd and the Native ancestral lands on which they roam. The story shines a light on Native American voices - whose deep and longstanding relationship with this land we deeply honor - while also mentioning our federal lawsuit to protect the herd through humane and ecologically sound management.

While the story didn’t address the territorial mismanagement of this herd - a main reason why they are off their land - it still marks an important moment of media awareness for this fragile high-desert ecosystem and these majestic wild animals who both depend on and positively contribute to it. We remain committed advocates who respect both the cultural heritage and thriving ecological balance that this wonderful herd provides.
