Stop the Massacres of Alawite and Christian Civilians in Syria

Stop the Massacres of Alawite and Christian Civilians in Syria

To: U.S. Government, United Nations, Human Rights Organizations, and Global Leaders

From: Concerned Citizens of the World

In recent weeks, Syria has seen a horrific surge in violence targeting Alawite and Christian civilians. Reports indicate that over 1,000 people, including 745 Alawite civilians, have been killed in brutal crackdowns, extrajudicial executions, and violent revenge attacks. Many are being beaten, looted, and driven from their homes simply because of their religious and ethnic background.

This is not a war between armed forces—this is the slaughter of innocent people. Alawites, once associated with the Assad regime, are now being hunted down by radical militias, while Christian communities face increasing persecution under the new government. Religious minorities who have lived in Syria for generations are now on the brink of genocide.

The international community cannot remain silent. We demand immediate action to:

1. Condemn these massacres and hold those responsible accountable.

2. Pressure the Syrian government to stop the persecution of minorities.

3. Provide emergency humanitarian aid to affected communities.

4. Ensure minority protections in any diplomatic discussions about Syria’s future.

We urge world leaders, human rights groups, and the United Nations to act NOW before more lives are lost.

Please sign this petition and share it widely. Your voice can help stop this crisis.
