STOP THE MADNESS! The Pines at St. James - 2025 Petition for Special Meeting

The Issue

The homeowners for The Pines at St. James Homeowners Association, Inc. who have signed this petition are officially demanding a Special Meeting of the association's general membership and the Board of Directors per the By-Laws of the association ARTICLE III, Section 4. SPECIAL MEETINGS. The meeting needs to be scheduled, notification sent, and meeting held in a timely manner (a date no longer than 30 days from the date this petition is received).

Special Meeting subject matter:

• To address the failures by the current contracted management company and Board of Directors to operate and manage all HOA business activity in accordance with the association's official governing documents, SC State Law, and standard professional management company service for the association.

 

• To address the previous Board of Directors’ failure to schedule and hold a reconvened in-person meeting after the adjournment of the 2024 Annual Membership Meeting, per The Pines at St. James Homeowners’ Association By-Laws ARTICLE III, Section 7. ADJOURNED MEETING.

 

• To address the removal of any one or more members of the current Board of Directors per the By-Laws of The Pines at St. James Homeowners Association, Inc. ARTICLE IV, Section 6. REMOVAL OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD and to fill all vacancies created, through the term of the director(s) removed or until the 2025 annual membership meeting.
