Stop the Laurel Ranch Gas Station — Park Ridge Already Said No. Hearing April 1st!

The Issue

In November 2024, the Park Ridge community in Antioch, CA showed up to a public hearing and won. The Antioch Planning Commission agreed: a proposed gas station, convenience store, and carwash at Laurel Road and Country Hills Drive would not add value to our neighborhood — and the land was improperly zoned when it was purchased.

Now, just over a year later, the same developer is back with the same proposal. The hearing is April 1, 2026 at 6:30 PM — and we need to show up again.

We are a residential community. Families have invested here. A gas station at this corner means more traffic, more noise, more light pollution, and lower property values — on land that was never properly zoned for this in the first place.

The Commission made the right call in 2024. Sign this petition to tell them to do it again — and join us in person at Antioch City Hall, 200 H Street, on April 1st at 6:30 PM.

Can't make it? You can still help. Email your opposition to planning@ci.antioch.ca.us before March 31 at 4:00 PM. Reference project PRE2026-0001 in the subject line.
