Keep Our Individual Mailboxes — Gun Creek Development, Grand Island, NY

As residents of Gun Creek, we value the convenience and community of individual driveway mailboxes. USPS plans to replace them with centralized cluster box units (CBUs). This would reduce accessibility for elderly residents, parents, and people with limited mobility, raise mail-theft and privacy risks, and may hurt property values.

Efficiency goals should not override neighborhood needs. Safer individual boxes or other alternatives can meet USPS aims without removing our delivery points.
