I must admit, I was sceptical about going to my local MP to seek support for our Campaign. There is so much going on at home and abroad at the moment, I believed that my request would be so trivial it would be side-lined.

How wrong was I.

After coming away from Tonia Antonazzi MP's Constituency Office, I was drained. Tonia was a pleasure to speak to and she got every bit of information from me. In fact, I wrote a blog about the meeting available to read on the Seal Alliance website.

She made promises and WOW did she keep them as two weeks later she stood up in Parliament and passionately spoke about our Campaign and what should be done.

I nearly fell off my Chair listening to her speaking in the very seat of UK Authority and Power. Her speech can be viewed here during the Welsh St Davids Day Debate.

That aside, we are continuing our efforts for action to be taken and every signature is definitely turning heads as we approach the 56,000 signature total.

We have already written to 32 MP's in Wales including the Secretary and Shadow Secretary of State for Wales urging action.

The same needs to happen across the UK so can you write to your local MP to gain support...you can access whatever resources you need via the Seal Alliance website to create a short but passionate request.

If your MP is anything like mine you can guarantee action will be taken.
