As residents of Brookland, we have enjoyed ample and uncomplicated parking since 2015. The recent proposal to introduce permits, car registration with the HOA, and parking patrols is not only unnecessary but also burdensome. We should not live in fear of having our vehicles towed in our own neighborhood.

The new rules sent out on 4/29 are restrictive and inconvenient. They threaten to increase congestion as people will resort to street parking. 

Moreover, these changes would result in a needless rise in our HOA dues due to costs associated with permit stickers and legal counsel required for drafting these regulations. This money could be better spent elsewhere within our community.
