There is plans to relocate the nurse from Fahan Health Centre - effectively closing the service from public use.

This centre serves the communities of Fahan, Burnfoot, Inch Island, Magherabeg, Tooban, Bridgend and many older people who simply cannot travel to Buncrana.

Local home care staff regularly avail of this service to quickly obtain medical supplies for those in the vicinity. Closing this service would force them to travel to Buncrana, wasting valuable time and would scale back the provision of care in the area.
