As local resident of Bicester, I care deeply about our community and are committed to preserving its welfare and future. The government's proposal to use the MOD site A in Bicester, Oxfordshire threatens to overwhelm our already under-pressure local services such as the NHS, schools, roads, and policing.

We are particularly concerned about the lack of public consultation on this issue, as decisions of such magnitude should always involve the community at the heart of them.

Bicester is a vibrant town with a tight-knit community, but our resources are already stretched thin. The introduction of a large influx of asylum seekers without the necessary infrastructure and planning could lead to significant strain on our essential services. 

Our healthcare system, particularly the NHS, is already facing challenges. Moreover, our police force could become overstretched, compromising the safety and security that we have worked hard to establish and maintain.

These potential impacts on our local services highlight the urgency and necessity of a comprehensive assessment and robust discussion before moving forward with the government's plan.
