The Rt Hon Gillian Keegan MP (Secretary of State for Education), has posted criticism of Keir Starmer on X. I responded simply stating there is a petition with her name on it and forwarded her the link.
@philipdgyorke
I am surprised she is not congratulating Keir Starmer and indeed Ed Davey for dropping their tuition fee promises, becoming more Tory, by diminishing the difference between the parties. Red and Yellow are both looking light blue. As Nick Clegg said after being in the coalition government, 'we blunted some of the conservative party policies'; sadly the Lib Dems also dropped there own education policy at the following general election (GE).
We need the opposition parties to step up. The tuition fee policy will be its own downfall. The more people angered by the enforced debt and wasted interest payments, the more people there will be to take the government to task over it. This is democracy at work. Lets make it happen now, before the next GE, by sharing this petition as much as possible.
Kind regards
