The French Embassy in New Delhi is operating with absolute arrogance, zero accountability, and a blatant disrespect for the sovereign authorities of the Republic of India. They are systematically suppressing global youth representation by issuing mass, boilerplate visa rejections to officially mandated, fully funded Indian delegates.

My name is Aravind K T. I am an actively enrolled Electrical Engineering scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, a former Secretary of the Public Policy and Opinion Cell, and a recognized youth leader. I am the recipient of the Devbhoomi Rashtriya Ratna National Award and was recognized among the Top 50 Youth Leaders in the Asia-Pacific region. I was officially mandated and fully funded to represent India at the Global Youth Festival in Paris.

Despite submitting a flawless more than 100-page dossier—including an official 'No Objection Certificate' from my institute and full financial sponsorship—the consular desk rejected my visa twice without asking a single clarifying question. They hid behind a generic checkbox claiming "doubt of return." To casually classify a decorated scholar from India's premier engineering institute as an illegal immigration risk is factually absurd, deeply insulting, and an active blockade on Global South representation.

This is a Diplomatic Crisis: This is no longer just a visa dispute; it is a severe diplomatic insult to the Indian Government. Following the arbitrary rejection, my mandate received unprecedented legislative and executive backing. I have  directly briefed and escalted this matter to :

Hon'ble Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and IAS Commissioners.
The Office of the Union Minister of Education, Shri Pralhad Joshi.
Most critically, an Hon'ble Member of Parliament submitted an official representation directly to the External Affairs Minister (EAM), Dr. S. Jaishankar, demanding urgent intervention.
By repeatedly rejecting a scholar actively backed by Indian MLAs, an MP, and the Union Cabinet, the consular staff of the New Delhi Embassy is directly insulting the parliamentary and executive authorities of India. This unaccountable behavior is actively destroying the bilateral trust between our two nations.

Furthermore, I have confirmed that the New Delhi Embassy has executed similar boilerplate, mass rejections of several other officially invited Indian delegates, proving this is a systemic bias against Indian youth.

The Global Escalation: Because my absolute deadline is in just 3 days, the standard 30-day appeal process via France is an unfeasible mechanism designed to silence us. I refuse to be silenced. This gross injustice has been formally escalated to:

The President of the French Republic at the Élysée Palace.
The United Nations  Special Procedures.
Major national and international media networks across India and France.
Our Demand: We demand that His Excellency Ambassador Thierry Mathou and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs immediately intervene, utilize their discretionary override, and reopen my file (FRA1NE20267051319). We demand an end to the discriminatory mass rejections of Indian delegates.

The sovereign recommendations of the Indian Government must not be destroyed by the arrogance of a local consular desk. Sign this petition to hold the French Embassy accountable and protect the dignity of Indian scholars on the global stage.
