Stop the Foristell Data Center Project — Protect Our Community’s Future

The Issue

We, the concerned residents and supporters of Foristell, Missouri, call on our city leaders to reject the annexation and rezoning proposals tied to the development of two massive data centers in our small, rapidly growing community.

Over 400 acres of undeveloped land — some outside city limits — are now at risk of being transformed into industrial-scale data facilities by developers who won’t even name themselves. Without transparency, without environmental impact assessments, and without meaningful community engagement, this proposal feels more like a land grab than a smart investment in our future.

At the most recent city meeting, hundreds of residents packed Foristell City Hall, desperate for answers. But instead of clarity, we got delays. Representatives from the data center companies couldn’t even get into the building, and the city confirmed it still doesn’t know which companies are really behind this proposal. What we do know is that the land would need to be annexed and rezoned for industrial use — a drastic shift with long-term consequences.

Supporters claim the data centers could create up to 250 jobs, but Foristell isn’t struggling for employment. What we’re struggling with is rapid, chaotic growth — and decisions that prioritize developers over residents. Our infrastructure, environment, and quality of life are at stake. We need smart, sustainable growth — not high-powered data hubs that strain resources and serve unknown corporate interests.

We urge the Foristell Board of Aldermen to vote no on annexation and any future rezoning tied to these data center developments. Put our community, our voices, and our future first.

Sign this petition to show you stand with Foristell — for transparency, for sustainability, and for responsible local planning.
