Stop the Forced Sale of Public Lands Under the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”

2,055

The Issue

The "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" includes a dangerous provision that would force the sale of up to 3 million acres of public land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and U.S. Forest Service — without public input, local consultation, or environmental review.

In Utah, this could include critical wildlife corridors, open space near our national parks, and land used for recreation, hunting, and cultural preservation. These lands belong to the people, not to private developers.

We, the undersigned, call on:

• Senator Mike Lee to withdraw support for this land sell-off

• Senator Mitt Romney and Utah’s Representatives to vote NO on any forced sale of public lands

• All elected officials to protect public lands for future generations, not auction them off under the false promise of “affordable housing”

📢 We demand public accountability, environmental protection, and permanent access to the lands we all share.
