These fluoride drops and tablets are only prescribed to children without access to fluoridated water. They’re backed by leading experts, including the American Dental Association and the CDC.

Taking this option away doesn’t protect children. It limits doctors and dentists from providing safe, effective care to the kids who need it most.

The FDA cites early research about possible gut microbiome changes, but even the scientists behind that work say the evidence is limited and inconclusive.

This decision is not based on solid science. It removes a trusted treatment tool from trained professionals and harms vulnerable families.

Fluoride supplements are safe at low doses. What’s not safe is ignoring experts and making public health decisions based on fear.
