Over 17,000 Palestinian civilians, living in Gaza, have been killed by the Israeli military, in the last 6 weeks, as it seeks to eradicate the terrorist organisation, Hamas, following the atrocities committed by Hamas, on 7 October 2023, against over 1,440 Israelis (mostly civilians). Of those civilian deaths, in Gaza, 40% have been children. Far more children, in excess of 16,000, have been injured, maimed, starved, bereaved and deeply traumatised. 

In spite of these atrocities, the British Government is doing very little to pressure the Israeli Government into changing its military strategy. As the UK has very little influence on the world stage, nowadays, British diplomacy, in itself, is insufficient to change the direction of the Israeli Government's current military strategy. What the British government CAN do, however, which would be far more effective, is to ban the export of British arms and any components, which could be used by the Israeli military, to build weaponry.

The British government should NOT be allowing British-made weaponry to kill Palestinian children and/or their parents.
