Stop the Exclusive Citizenship Act—Protect Dual Citizens and Our Families

Stop the Exclusive Citizenship Act—Protect Dual Citizens and Our Families
The Issue
A Petition to the United States Senate and House of Representatives
My name is Voy Anuszkiewicz, and I am one of millions of Americans who hold dual citizenship, a privilege, a responsibility, and a bridge between the place we were born and the country we now proudly call home.
A new proposed law, the Exclusive Citizenship Act of 2025, threatens to force millions of us to renounce one citizenship and keep only the other. It demands that we choose between two nations we cherish. It demands that we give up part of who we are.
And I’m here to say: This is wrong. This is unnecessary. And this is deeply un-American.
We Are Hardworking, Tax-Paying Americans—Not a Threat!
Most dual citizens are some of the most dedicated contributors to this country.
We work.
We pay taxes.
We raise families.
We serve our communities.
We follow the law.
We came here because we believed in freedom, not because we wanted to undermine it.
Dual citizens aren’t a problem to fix, we are part of the American story. We strengthen this nation economically, culturally, and socially.
For many of us, dual citizenship is not just a document it is identity. It is heritage. It is family. Dual Citizenship is Family! Don’t Make Us Choose Between Our Parents
Let me explain it the way millions of immigrants feel it:
Your birthplace is like your mother, the place that gave you life, culture, language, and belonging.
Your adopted country is like your father, the place that provided opportunity, security, and a chance to build a better life.
Both are sacred. Both matter.
No child should ever be told:
“Choose your mother or your father.”
And no American should ever be told:
“Choose which half of your identity to erase.”
We love both countries because they made us who we are.
Forcing us to abandon one is not loyalty—it’s cruelty!
This Bill Hurts Families, Not Helps Them
If passed, this law will tear apart lives.
It will separate families across borders.
It will strip elderly immigrants of their birthplace rights.
It will force young people to give up ancestry they cherish.
It could even revoke the citizenship of Americans who simply refuse to choose.
This is not patriotism.
This is punishment.
We Need Unity—Not Division!
America has always been strongest when it embraces diversity and allows people to share the richness of their backgrounds.
Dual citizens embody the very spirit of the United States: a nation of immigrants, a nation built by people who came from somewhere else but gave everything to this land.
We deserve respect—not suspicion.
We deserve protection—not political stunts.
We deserve the right to love both of our homes.
Join Me in Stopping This Madness
I am calling on all immigrants, all dual citizens, all naturalized Americans, all families, all allies, and anyone who believes in freedom and dignity to stand with me.
Stand against this bill.
Stand for fairness.
Stand for the millions of us who call two countries “home” and harm no one by doing so.
Sign this petition. Share it everywhere. Let Congress know that we will not be silenced.
Tell lawmakers: Don’t make us choose between our parents. Don’t make us choose between the two countries we love.
Let us keep our identity.
Let us keep our dignity.
Let us keep our families whole.
Let us keep both sides of our heart.
Thank you for your support.
Together, we can stop this!
God Bless ♥
