Stop the erasure of Jewish history: Demand Global Recognition of Declaration Day
The Issue
On May 14, 1948, a pivotal chapter in human history was written. Today, that history is being denied.
We must stand firm in our commitment to protect the truth and justice of Israel’s independence as it was declared at the commencement of the British Mandate, formally establishing the State of Israel on the ancestral homeland of the Jewish nation.
The culmination of a legal and historical process affirmed by the international family of nations was set in motion decades earlier. From the Balfour Declaration of 1917, to the San Remo Conference of 1920 — which enshrined Jewish national rights in international law, the fulfillment of the vision set forth by the League of Nations recognized the indigenous right of the Jewish people to reconstitute their national home in the Land of Israel.
May 14th was the moment that legal promise became a sovereign reality. Now, history and Jewish rights are under attack.
We call upon the international community to officially recognize May 14th as Declaration Day.
To acknowledge the continuity of Jewish history from biblical times, through the legal victories of San Remo, to the modern State of Israel.
To affirm the miracle of Israel’s rebirth as a triumph of justice and indigenous rights.
To reject the delegitimization campaigns that seek to negate the Jewish freedom affirmed in 1948
By signing, you are joining those who refuse to allow political narratives to replace historical fact. You are declaring that the restoration of the Jewish State is an irreversible fact of history and a beacon of hope for the world.
By signing, you are standing as a guardian of history.
Across the globe today, we are witnessing a systematic diplomatic and cultural campaign to erase the legitimacy of this date. International bodies, academic institutions, and media outlets increasingly frame Israel’s independence not as the rightful liberation of a nation in their native land, but as a "catastrophe." They attempt to rewrite the legal history of the 20th century, ignoring the indigenous rights of the Jewish people. We deny them the right to alter the truth.

Please add your name to ensure that the restoration of Jewish rights and history is commemorated and protected for generations to come.
