The recent announcement that Disney is planning to stop selling physical media is disappointing for Disney fans.

Sure, accessing Disney titles on Disney+ is convenient, but is limited when you:

• aren’t online
• can’t access special features that you could on a disc (who doesn’t love deleted scenes, outtakes and gag reels)
• can’t access titles that are taken off streaming
• can’t access the content as you originally saw it (we love you George Lucas, but would love it more if we could access the original Star Wars…). We’ve all seen shows like Friends and Scrubs be changed on streaming. 
• Aaaaand we all remember having (and losing) digital content via Ultra Violet, right?

Let’s send Disney a message that there’s a market and a need for physical media, and that fans will be sorely disappointed if the company stops sales of Blue Rays and DVDs.
