JUST HOW BIG IS THE PROPOSED EAST HALTON BESS?

The latest plans submitted to North Lincolnshire Council put the scale and location of this development into perspective. This isn’t a small installation tucked away in an industrial estate. It is a substantial energy-storage development proposed in the countryside beside a small rural village, surrounded by agricultural land and wildlife habitat and within an area already dominated by major industrial infrastructure.

We are now examining the submitted plans in detail, including the actual development footprint, number of battery units, fire-safety arrangements, access, drainage, ecological impacts and its relationship with East Halton and surrounding industry.

Residents now have an opportunity to read the application and submit their own comments directly to North Lincolnshire Council.
