Stop the Division and Hate. True Love Stands.

The Issue

As a teenager in the ‘90s, my church challenged me to sign a pledge committing to virginity until marriage. Less than two weeks later, I was sexually assaulted. This campaign is part of my healing—transforming trauma into love.

Today, trans people, women, disabled individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, immigrants, Indigenous people, and people of color are under attack simply for existing. While real harm happens in religious institutions—where over 30 faith leaders in Tennessee alone have been arrested for sexual crimes against children in 2025—our lawmakers focus on banning drag instead.

Our children are not safe in churches, not safe in schools, and unless they are straight, cis, and white, they are increasingly unsafe in this country. Hate is tearing apart families, communities, and our nation.

I choose to respond with love.

I challenge you to pledge commitment to your community. On March 30th, before Trans Day of Visibility, I will return to my home church to ask them to stand with me. I will reach out to as many institutions as possible before April 20th. Will you stand with me?

I stand in solidarity with love and compassion for all—regardless of belief, race, gender, nationality, or status. I commit to protecting trans kids, women, the disabled, immigrants, Indigenous people, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I celebrate diversity, equality, and inclusion with grace and mercy.

United in love, we stand.

Our existence—both spiritual and physical—is sovereign and sacred.

I reject institutions and ideologies that use fear and fascism in the name of faith.

We, the people, stand united in love working for a safer future for all.
