SAVE THE 102 Y.O. HISTORIC COLAC WEST PS FROM DEMOLITION 

The decision has been made to build a new Colac West Primary School then demolish the original historic building.

This petition to the Victorian School Building Authority, Colac Otway Shire and Colac West Primary School Council invites those who may OPPOSE THE DEMOLITION to supply their name, address and signature in an attempt to reverse the decision to demolish the original school building. It does NOT oppose the building of the new school.    

Consider:

-its historic, heritage and cultural place in Colac’s history

-the fact that more than $450,000 has been spent on it in recent years          

-the non-transparent way the decision has been made (with no reasons given for its demolition)

-there is sufficient space to build the new school without demolition of the original
