Aylesbury has a long history of music in the town, from this theatre itself in the 1960s through to Friars in the 70s and 80s. The Waterside Theatre is a nice venue; however, its prices for many events are prohibitive to many people wishing to attend and also to people/groups who wish to hire and/or use the venue.

We propose repurposing this disused theatre as a music/social venue which will help regenerate Aylesbury’s flagging High Street. By preserving this historic site, we can create an affordable space for local artists and community events, fostering cultural growth and economic revitalization.
