Stop the Data Center in Nottingham, New Hampshire

Stop the Data Center in Nottingham, New Hampshire
The Issue
Nottingham, New Hampshire is a town of roughly 5,000 people that was the first municipality in the United States to mandate recycling. Now, a proposed data center on Route 4 wants to plant itself in the middle of this community — and residents are saying no.
Data centers are among the most resource-hungry facilities on the planet. They consume massive amounts of electricity and water, straining the local infrastructure of whatever community hosts them. Nottingham residents showed up in such numbers to oppose this proposal that the planning board had to move its public hearing to the local school just to fit everyone in. Opposition has been statewide.
The Nottingham Planning Board needs to hear loud and clear: this town does not want this data center. We're calling on the board to reject the proposal and protect Nottingham's land, water, and way of life.
