There are cuts being proposed to The Partington Local Link Bus Service

which would result in the bus service not running between the hours of 8.30 Am and 6.30 PM. Monday to Saturday with two buses running on a Sunday.

If these cuts go ahead it will have a detrimental affect on the people in our community. For some people it may result in jobs loses as they are unable to travel to and from work. The elderly and vulnerable will no longer have a door to door service and hence will miss out on social events, seeing family, and just enjoying everyday life.

If the bus is running for less hours it may also put the driver side jobs at risk.

So come on people of Partington, please sign the petition, contact your Local Councillor, contact your MP, let’s do all we can to stop the cuts to Partington Local Link
