Stop the cruelty at Marine Aqua Zoo Dadar

Stop the cruelty at Marine Aqua Zoo Dadar
The Issue
Marine Aqua Zoo Dadar, a zoo with 20 rupees entry contains exotic species ranging from tied up goats to caged rabbits, birds, iguanas, skinks, ball python, and more.
They have a section designated to marine life including turtles, various kinds of fish of all different colours, and an alligator gar. All these animals have been kept in filthy conditions, lack of space, unchanged water.
A serious concern notice is the high level of interaction with humans, they have a special fee where people can interact physically with all land animals.
People can also enter the bird cage showing that not only are they in unhealthy conditions or cramped in inadequate space but also are being invaded majorly.
It is necessary to end their silent suffering and provide them with a chance to be in their natural habitat where they deserve to belong.
The ultimate aim is to ensure that these innocent creatures receive the respect and care they deserve other than being used as sheer entertainment , free from all the cruelty and suffering.
As a society, we should take the responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of all animals, local or exotic, as delaying action only prolongs their suffering. We urge the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) and the Central Zoo Authorities (CZA) to take immediate action to rectify the issue before it is too late.
