The government has a long history of forcing its citizens to receive medical treatment, such as sterilizations, without consent. Please do not contribute to this history. In 1958, in a mostly forgotten case, the Fifth Circuit sweepingly pronounced that under the Fourteenth Amendment, “the State cannot deny to any individual the right to exercise a reasonable choice in the method of treatment of his ills.”

It should be our personal choice as to whether we receive the emergency use vaccine or not. Thousands of healthcare employees will be forced to resign or will be fired by the end of August. This will significantly increase the already dangerous nursing shortage. We ask that you stand for us and be our voice to protect our rights to choose our own medical treatment.
