My son, Dominik Garza, lived a challenging life, having been in a Permanent Vegetative State for over a year due to injuries that led to Status Epilepticus. Sadly, he passed away on December 23, 2024, at the young age of 29. Despite these hardships, my fiancé and I have always been there for him, providing the love and support any child deserves.

However, amidst the grief of losing my beloved son, an unjust situation has arisen. An individual has came forward to contest Dominik's Special Needs Trust. This person has never seeked interest or involvement in Dominik’s life, no alleged relationship was ever established or recognized, as this person has no rights to the trust meant to honor Dominik’s legacy and was meant for his beneficiaries his 2 brothers Chris and Noah.

This individual sudden interest, clearly self-serving, is an attempt to divert funds from the very trust put in place to secure Dominik's care—something this person was never part of. Despite having a criminal background and complete absence in Dominik's life, the probate court is entertaining this claim, dragging out proceedings, and ultimately jeopardizing the integrity of the trust.

This legal battle should not be happening. It's deeply distressing and a disservice to the memory of Dominik, who deserved to rest in peace knowing that those who stood by him in life would see through his wishes in death. The continued court proceedings not only lead to unnecessary emotional distress but also result in financial expenses that only serve those involved in litigating in this unfounded claim. Lawyers, judges, and fiduciaries profit while we are left struggling to protect what rightfully belongs to Dominik’s beneficiaries.

I am urgently calling upon the court to dismiss the claim. This claim is purely to profit from my son Dominik and to exploit his passing. It is crucial for the court system to act justly, not reward Random people with criminal backgrounds, and uphold the law in favor of those who genuinely fulfilled their role.
