As residents of Timperley, we are concerned about the proposed Mega Mosque's potential implications and drawbacks for our community. While we recognize the importance of serving all members of our community, it's also vital to consider the long-term impact of such large infrastructure projects. There is already a local mosque that is fulfilling its role efficiently and another one with planning permission on Woodlands Parkway.

The scale of the planned Mega Mosque introduces the potential for massive traffic congestion, potentially endangering pedestrian safety and reducing the quality of the neighbourhood's life. 

Furthermore, a community-wide consensus on such large-scale projects is essential. As it stands, it appears that a substantial number of local residents are not in favor of the plan, which is concerning.

For these reasons, we call out to the local council to halt the construction of the Mega Mosque in Timperley until further consultations have been conducted with residents and an extensive review of the project's impact on traffic and general well-being has been undertaken.
