I have always loved animals and nature deeply, and these precious parts of our world have shaped who I am today. However, there comes a time when love needs to translate into action. It is with this sense of urgency and responsibility that I urge you to join in stopping the construction of a data center next to the Nashville Zoo.

All of the water provided to the zoo for the animals to drink and bath, and for their habitats will now be prioritized around the data center rather than the zoo, because data centers need a lot of water and energy. With all of the water and energy going towards the data center, the Nashville Zoo will eventually run out of money for food and electricity, and water to keep the zoo animals alive and thriving.

Data centers ALSO put a lot of stress on animals which can cause the zoo animals to struggle with breathing properly, and make them resort to bad eating and sleep habits—WHICH ARE NOT HEALTHY!!!
