Please, spread this petition around! We have close to 7,000 signatures in just three weeks. We want to get 8,000, 9,000, 10,000 and more!
Another article against adversity scoring in a liberal leaning news outlet. The author is right—it’s about College Board’s profits. Oh wait, isn’t College Board supposed to be nonprofit? Well, it is, but David Coleman made $750,000 per year (as of 2012 per NY Times). That’s fine. It may be a nonprofit, but it’s certainly not a charity. What’s ironic is that instead of saving SAT, adversity scoring may push more students to take ACT instead.
