you will probably be aware of the sad news regarding the proposed closure of Welland Park Community Preschool highlighted in the Harborough Mail yesterday. 

The Preschool has been servicing our community for at least 20 years and has always been held in high esteem as an example of excellence. The preschool has worked closely with and enabled minority groups to access the service.  Many of us have probably had our children start their education at this wonderful facility.

Leicestershire County Council has confirmed that Welland Park Academy CHOSE to close the preschool for reasons other than cost of living as stated in the Harborough Mail yesterday.

For confidentiality reasons, it is difficult to get everyone’s details together for petitioning so please, if you are happy, register your support and this can be tied in with ongoing petitions.
