Liberty Mo. Stocksdale park woods are systematically being chopped down by the City and have been for the past 4 years. The area was a former Indian, Paleo Indigenous people settlement, the deepest part of the woods are fantastic trails of very old woods,  containing trees that are 150-200 years old. The citizens of Liberty own the land but the city has decided to make a frizbee golf course, the course is completely finished but the city will not stop the deforestation. I hope to save at least, the deep woods.   Liberty citizens are unknowingly paying for it's deforestation and have been for 4 or so years.  It is time to halt the destruction. Please help me to stop this madness before it is too late.  This petition will hopefully cause elected officials to stop this destruction. 

This place has been special, I am hoping to save the deepest part but am starting to get a lot of pushback.
