LONG UPDATE & MESSAGE:

So here’s what we learned from our representative:

1. The CCC say’s that they have politician support, but yet the politician/representative we talked to didn’t even know who they were until now. He even asked others he knows and yet they don’t know the company ethier.
2. The CEO of this business is 100% not from this country and doesn’t live in Kansas. He lives in New York and is a immigrant from Russia/Belarus? Now this country was founded off of people from different cultures. But when you don’t even live in the state… how do you even know what your business is doing when your not there?
3. I’m not an expert on any of this stuff (including creating this petition) and never thought I would be in the middle of a environmental thing, but the SIERRA CLUB has gotten involved, so props to them. There is gas lines involved so the Sierra Club has done some investigating, and they don’t like it as much as we do.
4.  SO BIGGEST PROBLEM. Apparently this company has made it so they can move the entire thing in short notice time….FISHY MUCH?!?! You might not know about the whole South Dakota pipeline situation a couple years ago. Maybe you know pipe-liners or people you know involved in all that. But usually pipe-liners or people who work for pipelines, usually keep things very mobile. Not necessarily a big problem or comparison. But I thought I would point that out.
5. There was rumors (of course not verified) going around they might have ammo and guns if anyone goes onto the property. Are they scared we gonna wreck the place hmm? But seriously please avoid the area just for your safety, it already blew up once. LITERALLY.
6. The representative will represent us well, because he also represented Tonganoxie, Kansas when Tyson wanted to come in and build a plant. Tyson lost and so maybe there is hope??
7. KBI and investigative units in Kansas have been talked to by the representative and many have raised red flags with him.

Update about Petition:

1. 197 people have signed. SHARE! SHARE! SHARE!
2. People from specifically Mclouth, Kansas have been added to another petition that will be used here soon, “possibly”. That is specifically a paper one. This is the online one. Along with another one, but there isn’t a lot of togetherness to be honest. My goal is to have all the petitions piled together to eventually create one (WITH YOUR NAME) to present to the county.
