It has been a while for any communications concerning the proposed development of the Red House Gardens and Bull Hill.
At present, we are still playing the waiting game with regard to official objections as we do not have any details from a planning application that we can formally object to. A 'scoping' planning application has been entered by the developers, which is basically a document outlining what environmental reports etc that will be required for the main planning application that we believe may come in June.
Freedom of information requests have been sought and requested to no real advantage. All answers coming back state that the reports asked for will be available when the planning application is officially entered. So we are waiting for the planning application to be able to see what we are really up against.

Save Bull Hill was made a 'Club', an organisation, in March to allow the group to raise money for campaigning, printing etc and possibly paying for a Town Planner to help with objections against the scheme. There is now a bank account and crowd funding is being looked into to aid the cause.
The club has a committee, members and supporters.
Currently the Committee is made up of 9 active members with a chairperson, secretary and treasurer. Other officer posts may come to light as the club grows and needs of the group require further roles to be allocated. If you wish to be on the committee, you will need to be a member first. If you do not wish to be a member, but wish to stay supporting the group in its aim to save the Red House gardens, then you need do nothing. We will have your email address if you have messaged us, and here and will keep you up to date with all that the group is up to...as much as possible.
As you email us we will need your permission for us to have access to the email address you have provided to us.
The club is at present, preparing to build a website and that requires access to this Gmail account by those building the website.
If you would prefer not to have your email address shared with those building the website, and/or would prefer not to receive any communication via Save Bull Hill can you please send us an email confirming your request to be removed. If this can be done as soon as possible please.
The group is looking into ways to to push forward, to ensure everyone knows what is going on with the proposed development, to promote the group and to fundraise. If you feel you can help in any way, then maybe, consider becoming a member and help spread the word by supporting others like yourselves in the effects this development would have on all the residents of Leatherhead.
