AI data centres are terrible for our environnement and our lifes today. They use up billions of liters of water, fresh water, that we drink, that we use in our lifes. They use billions of usable water that is used to cool down the systems to run it but that water isn't put into a waste water basin, it is pumped back into nature. The water that is pumped out isn't usable anymore but it is still pumped out into nature and used and sent into fresh water pipes that are sent into towns, and cities, and into your house, it is running through your house. It is turned into drinking water, water that is also used for cooking, showering, washing your hands, toilet water anything that involves water near these AI data centres are labelled as clean, fresh water when it had just been in multiple systems running through the AI data centres. Also how much space it takes to building these centres, causing massive deforestation, dehabition for animals and how much energy it takes is insane. They also omit carbon into the air, they omit more carbon than 30 cars. Carbon is one of the biggest reasons for climat change. So please sign this petition to stop the building of AI data centres in all of Canada.
