Friends and neighbors, here’s the latest. Norwich Township now has only one active MET tower application in play — because we already forced Swift Current Energy to pull their Bear Head Camp application. Why? They planned to put it right next to an active gas well — basically a lightning rod. Unsafe, reckless, and unacceptable. That withdrawal proves that when we show up, speak up, and fight back, we can win.
But don’t be fooled — they aren’t giving up. The developer is expected to “shift the tower location” or find another nearby property to replace the withdrawn application. This is their playbook: keep moving the target until something sticks. That’s why we have to stay vigilant.
The remaining active application is for a tower on Collins Pine property — yes, a timber company teaming up with a wind developer, just like Lyme Timber has done with signed leases already recorded at the Recorder of Deeds office. This is the beginning of a multi-county, multi-phase industrial wind buildout, and Collins Pine is opening the door.

Bottom line
Pack the room on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 7:00 PM at the Norwich Township VFD, 9461 PA-46, Crosby, PA 16724. Spread the word. Stand together. No MET towers. No timber company partnerships that sell out our communities. No multi-county industrialization of our PA Wilds.
Thank you for standing strong. Let’s stop it.
