Dear Supporter

Thank you so much for signing my petition.

Ww have received over  570 signatures since launching,  just three days ago and had National news coverage including in the The Independent   where Race Correspondent, Nadine White, who spoke with me, reported that of 39 local radio stations , the majority of  24,  are fronted by Black and Asian presenters. This is a clear disproportionate  adverse impact on race grounds if they are cut.

Here are some actions you can do to build the campaign:

1. Please share the petition with your networks and on social media.  We are using the hashtag #StopBBCBlackAsianradiocuts.

2. If you use twitter please tweet  @BBC to demand that they do not cut these programmes. Here is some suggested wording for your tweet:

@BBC,  I have signed this petition; https://chng.it/phtKcmsr
Don't cut our African, Caribbean and Asian local radio programmes. You must adhere to the Public Sector Equality Duty and practice race equality.  #StopBBCBlackAsianradiocuts

Thank you so much for your support for this campaign.

Best Regards

Zita
