
There's actually been a lot of news articles out there about the pollution by LG in some of their other factories. Most of these are overseas, but they still show a history of issues... everything from ignoring government guidelines or manufacturing their own reports, to exploding batteries that have been recalled.

And also interesting, an article about the sinking of a cargo ship. A fire broke out onboard (suspected from the EV batteries) and sunk the ship. The EV vehicles were from VW, which uses LG batteries.
