The extremist group Reclaim Kosci, want to try to end the Brumby  Legislation that has been in place since 2018 to protect our Heritage Brumbies, 3,000 may live across four retention zones in KNP. They simply dont want Brumbies in KNP because, they say, "they dont belong". 

Dr Joe McGirr an independent, is sponsoring the Reclaim Kosci paper Petition and has tabled a Bill in Parliament to end the Legislation. 

There is no impact study proving Brumbies cause  damage, or that by removing Brumbies it will save any endangered or thereatened species. 

If the Legislation is repealed or ended, it will be open slather on aerial shooting Brumbies and possibly the end of Brumbies in the Australian Alpine National Park. 

Reclaim Kosci is a non gorvernment organisation,  has no more say about what happens to our Brumbies than you or anybody. There is nil evidence to suggest Brumbies  should be removed, the Legislation is in place to protect the Heritage value of Brumbies in the Park. The action is an extremist move and one which we oppose strongly.
