Stop the Annual Increase of School Fees at Tenby International School

The Issue

I am a concerned parent, planning for my child's long-term education at Tenby International School in Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia. However, the annual increase in school fees is causing financial strain and overwhelming us parents who are trying to provide quality education for our children.

Tenby International School has been known for its excellent academic performance and holistic approach to student development. However, the yearly increment in school fees is becoming a burden to many families like ours. We understand that operating costs may rise over time but we urge the management of Tenby International School to reconsider their policy on annual fee increases.

According to a study by The Star (Malaysia), private school fees have risen by an average of 150% over the past decade which is significantly higher than inflation rates. This trend has made it increasingly difficult for middle-income families like ours to afford quality private education.

We believe that every child deserves access to good education without being hindered by escalating costs. Therefore, we call upon the management of Tenby International School to halt their policy of increasing school fees annually and consider other ways of managing operational costs without passing them onto parents.

Please sign this petition if you believe in affordable access to quality education for all students at Tenby International School.
